Most people go to Vegas to gamble, I go for the art. No, I'm not referring to the abundance of neons and cheap plastic imitations. No trip to The Forum Shops at Caesars is complete without a visit to the Peter Max gallery (and of course, the only Marc Jacobs boutique in Nevada, just a few high-end stores away). Colour should be this man's middle name, but quite surprisingly, not in a kitchy way. And guess what? For some reason, Vegas seams to be the perfect city to host such an energizing exhibition.

Oh so very Escher-esque

Fridays Are the Best

There's nothing better than starting your Friday with a hot cup of jasmine tea after a rough dancing night, a morning art class followed by a trip to the local "cupcakery" (how does strawberry filled vanilla cupcake with cream cheese frosting sound?), a visit to my favourite antique stores...and did I mention the unbelievably high temperatures of -2C??

Oh la la

My first trip to Paris left me wanting more. I'm definitely planning on returning, but until then I can at least daydream. Having too much free time on my hands and not enough money...I came up with the perfect schedule for a perfect day in a perfect city like Paris.

-wake up in an apartment with big windows and a tiny balcony
-have breakfast at that "confiture place"
-go to Orsay
-walk till I can't feel my legs
-eat macarons from Ladurée
-go to Marché Saxe-Breteuil and get cheese, flowers and fresh fruits
-spend a lazy afternoon in les jardins du Luxembourg
-drink a glass of red wine in the evening while watching Jean-Luc Godard's movies

Ink + H2O

What a beautiful reaction. It's not chemistry, it's art.

Bike

Whoever said it's all in the details was right. I love the lighting, the shadows, the colour scheme, the mystery, the masculinity, the angle and I love even more Sart for taking it.
